Where do you keep your chocolate stash?

Assuming it stays around for long enough to constitute an actual stash,
where do you put it?

'Cos it goes all melty in the cupboard and too hard in the fridge.

Suggestions from scientists and chocoholics gratefully received.

someone must have a sneaky plan.

in my tummy

lionheart · 17/04/2007 18:21

And in the nanoseconds before that?

You know the cheese shelf in the door of the fridge?

Well... in ours it's a chocolate shelf Unless it's a big easter egg and it's taking up most of the top shelf.

I like my chocolate solid.

lionheart · 17/04/2007 18:34

That's it!

Thank you Mrsdarcy and Rubberduck.

Ours is currently on the top of the cupboards in the kitchen - the kids got SO MANY easter eggs, and we got 2 each too (WHY?) so now, if i want some, i put it in the fridge for an hour and then scoff.

Although, this pregnancy is annoying me as I am off chocolate!

madmarchhare · 17/04/2007 18:42

I used to keep it under my bed

In my defence it was a shared house.

lionheart · 17/04/2007 18:55

That is terrible, JARM.

Could you get away with stashing it under your bed now, madmarchhare?

No, DH would find it when tidying and think I was a slob. Maybe thats what he wants me to think so that I leave in full view in the fride (to be pinched - grr)

MrsWho · 17/04/2007 21:20

Mine is in the egg shelf of the fridge as the kids can't see it there (actually neither can I but I can feel!)

JARM-didn't know you were pregnant, congratulations, when are you due? Does this mean more buggy shopping?

Quootiepie · 17/04/2007 21:23

Ah, first line of OP sums it up.

lionheart · 17/04/2007 21:27

Another vote for the fridge door with the added refinement of putting it high up.

But you must replenish your stocks, QP.

No stash.....no chocolate

JARM · 17/04/2007 21:29

Mrs Who - who are you?!

Thanks, im only 7+3 so still early days, but to be off choccy is NOT GOOD!

Will be buggy shopping yes..... have my eyes on a few already!

MrsWho · 17/04/2007 21:38

I was nikkie, just remembered the buggies from the ebay £400 thread

mrsdarcy · 17/04/2007 21:58

The nanoseconds before it reaches my tummy the chocolate is en route from the shop to my house.

Sometimes ...... I even eat it on the street.

I have very little willpower

lionheart · 17/04/2007 22:23

We won't tell.

I specifically asked for a cupboard oevr the top of the fridge when we had our new kitchen for this very purpose.

It contains chocolate and DS' paints.

lionheart · 17/04/2007 22:36

I wish I'd had such foresight.

chocolateface · 17/04/2007 22:42

I'm not telling you!

lionheart · 18/04/2007 00:02

Was worth a try.
