chicken legs and BBQs

Doing a BBQ for ds's birthdays(3days apart) anyway have bought a loads of chicken legs was gonna marinade them cook them in the oven and then finish them off on the bbq. Was gonna cook some plain, some done with some cloves of garlic and mixed herbs. Wanted to do something else as well but cant think of what else do do with them.

mild chicken tikka marinade? or yoghurt mixed with smoked paprika or honey and mustard

Good trick for chicken breasts (and sausages) - poach them for a few minutes first in some water or stock, then dry them off and BBQ them... they will cook through nicely without having to go horrible black.
