I made a quice yesterday and left it in the oven to cool and forgot about it. Will it be safe to eat today?? Eggs, cheese, spring onions and peppers.

I think it will be fine.

PestoMonster · 16/04/2007 11:37

I would risk it personally. Especially if it was left in oven and therefore wouldn't have been exposed to flies.

fryalot · 16/04/2007 11:38

it will probably be fine, but it has been at the optimum temp for breeding germs for a long while.....

it will probably be fine.

suzywong · 16/04/2007 11:38

of course it will be ok

unless you were also cultivating botulism in your oven on a lower shelf

monkeytrousers · 16/04/2007 11:39

should I reheat it?

OP posts:
DimpledThighs · 16/04/2007 11:39

I would eat it with pleasure!

suzywong · 16/04/2007 11:44

no don't reheat it

well you could til 72 degrees all the way through but IME quiches don't profit from being reheated. It's also very common.

Okay, if you don't see me posting for a few days you'l know what's happened.
(might even kick start the diet!)
