Candying angelica

I planted an angelica last year and it has gone crazy! Does anyone know how to candy the stems and how long they keep etc?

Well 8 days...It said you had to reboil and wait another 4 days.

8 days?!! dp would have cleaned up behind me by then, what hope do I have?! I've got so much angelica though, I will give it a go! Is there anything else you can do with it?!
