DS is 20 months and basically eats the same things again and again. Fruit, veg, oatcakes with dairylea, bagels/toast etc. And for main meals it's chicken nuggets (homemade) or fish fingers with oven potato wedges and veg. Or homemade pizza. We're totally stuck in a rut! The problem is that
- He isn't too keen to try out new things so I've been so diheartened in the past I've stopped trying! And have a freezer full of things I've made he won't eat!
- He won't eat anything with a spoon and won't be spoon fed - never has been. He's getting the idea of a fork but still prefers his hands so we need finger foods.
- He won't eat much dairy so milk based sauces are out. And saucy foods make his hands dirty which he hates
- DD came along 8 wks ago so we barely have time to cook anything at all for DS!
So I need recipe ideas. Quick, easy things that I can do or things I can make and freeze in advance and use at a moments notice. And that are fairly nutritious. Oh, and not too weird... he's used to meat & two veg lol.
