Would this be safe? OR Would you do it?

I have made myself a massive salad for lunch at work tomorrow and wondered if it would be safe to put the egg in tonight?

The salad is in an airtight container and will be kept in the fridge tonight and then straight into the fridge at work in the morning until i eat it.

It will be fine.

nickytwotimes · 10/04/2007 19:35

god, yes, it'll be fine!

earlgrey · 10/04/2007 19:35

Yes, of course. How long do you think Scotch eggs have been lounging in their breadcrumbed, deep-fried testicles for before they're bought?

Enjoy! But only, of course, if it's a free range, organic, locally produced one!

NB, you may want till wait till everyone's gone to Pret before opening the box, though!

Twiglett · 10/04/2007 19:36

no don't the egg will eat the salad

Snort at earlgrey. I wish colleague with "It's a long way from Grimsby" tuna sarnies would heed your advice
