Broccoli of course!

With stilton if you like that sort of thing.

Don't know recipe though

Cauliflower soup

1 potato
1 onion
1 cauliflower
28g/1oz butter
1 pint vegetable stock
1 pint milk

  1. Chop the potato and onion, heat the butter in a saucepan until melted, then add the potato and onion and sauté.
  1. Bung in the florets of cauliflower and continue to sauté.
  1. Add stock. Boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
  1. Add milk. Blend in a liquidiser.
  1. Add salt and pepper, then serve.

You can grate a bit of nutmeg on top if you like it, or melt a bit of Roquefort cheese into the soup right at the end - but it's lovely without.

Yes, it's fine to freeze ... I've always done so anyway and it's always been fine.

It's really tasty, isn't it - glad you enjoyed it!
