DP has just brought 3 mangos and we won't eat them all before they go bad.

TIA

I read that as can I freeze my fanjo .

FirstAtForty · 03/04/2007 22:21

yes, pretty sure you can. May be worth preparing it into chunks before freezing though.

FirstAtForty · 03/04/2007 22:22

(not your fanjo)

I was thinking of pureeing it because I like it in yoghurt and on toast.

Is there anything else I can use it for?

hmmm if you have a weaning age LO mango puree is good for them...

Mango cocktails maybe, with coconut milk and rum

prob best to steer clear of fanjo / mango juxtapositions I would have thought - bit messy, unless you like that sort of thing

I will be sharing my mango yoghurts with my 6month old DS.

Thank you for your help.

I know that my mum freezes mango puree. And I have bought lovely frozen mango chunks. Used to eat them by the bagfull when I was pregnant. Though, I do have to say that if my dh came home with 3 mangos, I would eat them all within a day....I LOVE mangos.

Thanks Sofia,

Any more suggestions?
