easter eggs for 8 month old

what is the opinion on giving ds some choc egg.. never had chocolate yet

I wouldnt bother personally
My Ds is 5 and dd almost 3 and this is the first year they will get any chocolate for Easter.

I didn't give any to my dd when she was a baby. In fact I don't think she had any the following year either!

gave dd2 choc button. she gobbled it up and then opened her mouth for more. have I created a 6.5 month old chocoholic?
