Does anyone use honey to sweeten their toddlers food?

Hate the damn stuff so never have it in the house-I usually use fruit puree to sweeten or even good old-fashioned sugar.

My DS (3) loves peanut butter and honey sandwiches. I don't really sweeten his food though. What kind of dish/recipe are you thinking about?

No, I tend not to sweeten (don't see the point) but when I do, like on porridge, I prefer to use molasses as at least it contains iron and magnesium, unlike honey which is practically just sugar (unless you buy the organic, unpasteurised variety). Otherwise I use fresh or dried fruit.

Yes - well, I sweeten my cereal with it and ds usually ends up eating some. Why?

We mix honey or jam with natural yoghurt to make sweet and flavoured yoghurts.
