I've just got a pot of angelica in my veg box. In that DH is already complaining about the amount of stuff that makes it onto the compost heap from the box, what can I do with it?
Please help oh wise ones...

I can only find recipes to candy it or make Angelica liquer. Doesn;t your veg box suggest what the hell to do with it?

SaintGeorge · 02/04/2007 19:45

Leafy tops in salads, stems you can use like celery (chopped in stews etc).

Here has some info, scroll down for kitchen uses

I love the bit in the medicine section of St George's link for it relieving flatulence (open up DH!) and "causing a digust for spiritous liquors". Won't get on well in my house if it's offended by strong drink!
Thanks for the help chaps!
