I have cooked it for a cottage pie but there is a bit too much. It's o.k. to freeze it again if it has been cooked isn't it?

It's ok if it has been cooked.

If its been cooked first you CAN freeze it again. Think this might be a 'IMO' one but I would!

jangly · 29/03/2007 17:18

Yes. You can freeze it again when its been cooked.Cool it as quickly as possible and keep it covered.

Would the same apply to fish do you think? I bought some salmon to try my dd on, and then forget to keep it in the fridge, and shoved it in the freezer.... if I cook it up, there will be way too much for one meal for her - so could I refreeze a puree??

Seona1973 · 01/04/2007 20:09

it applies to any raw food that has been frozen i.e. if it is frozen when raw it can then be cooked and refrozen
