Food ideas for after my dental work please...

Going to have my teeth done the end of april. Need soft food for after. Will probably have to go shopping this weekend (when dh gets paid), dont mind cooking stuff and freezing it.

Ideas please.

rice and dahl
mashed potatoes with mashed broccoli or carrot or fish
scrambled eggs without toast

Ooh grim . I had scrambled egg, baked beans (on toast once I could chew a little), humous and soft pitta bread (not while any stictces are still there or it stings , believe me!) , warm soup, cottage/shepherds pie, fish and mashed potatoes, pasta and rice, yoghurt. hth

having at least 2 teeth out and about 6 fillings, but its on both sides of my mouth, so wont even be able to chew on one side rather then the other.

Youch. Mash and gravy for you then.

If your extractions are both on one side, you should be ok in a day or so.

yeah i'm terrified of the dentist and have told them I want all the work done(hence the £600 bill) in one go, cos if i come home and i'm in a lot of pain i'm likely not to go back and finish having the work done

wurly, just don't eat for the rest of the day, unless its Heinz tomato soup which my mum swears by after any trip to the dentist! The day after, you will be fine, honestly

eewwww dont do tomato soup, do you think cream of chicken will have the same healing abilities?? Am not allowed to eat in the morning at am having the work done at 11.30 so will be famished ny the time we're coming home. Do you think its possible to liquidise a big mac??
