Is the only thing that I am able to drink at the moment due to hideous reflux. (Other than Gaviscon Advanced)

Am drinking about 4 pints of semi a day - is this bad for me or the baby at all - I am worried that he is going to come out with big black spots and making mooing noises!!

(Seriously is it bad for him to be having sooo much of it when he is growing inside me??)

It's great stuff, thoroughly nourishing in every way, and much better than Gaviscon!

Twinkie · 11/07/2004 15:19

Makes a gaviscon milkshake though and gets both stuff down at the same time!!

no it is good for you. Infact when I was having the most vile morning sickness I could only drink milk and =eat 1 banana a day and apparently this was good according to my m/w!

Twinkie.....I drank loads when expecting ds2......used to chase the milkman down the street . The only problem was it was all full fat and I put on 3 1/2 stone (mind you the craving for fresh cream cakes probably didn't help) Ds2 weighed in at a strapping 9lb 6 oz!

When pregnant with ds I drank about 3 pints of full fat every day due to terrible heartburn. I too put on over 3 stone But when ds was born he had the loveliest, creamiest complexion. (I like to think that was due to the milk)

My doc always said to drink as much milk as I could
