cups - how much in grammes or ounces?

Speedymama just posted a fab bulla recipe but it's in cups. Anyone know how much a cup is in grammes or ounces? Ta

Just looked in one of my cookery books and it seems to be different depending on what the ingredient is

cup = 8 fluid oz

Yeah, cups are volume, not weight. A US recipe is generally 9 fluid oz, or 250 ml. No equivalent in weight, as it depends on the ingredient.

this seems quite good, scroll down to see cups conversions. I can't find the site I usually use. It is different for diff ingredients
