9 month old off food

ARRGGGHHH

my nine month old boy is off his food - we've tried loads of different foods (including jars, homemade, etc.) but he just won't eat more than a couple of mouthfulls. He's now not finishing his bottles and his then waking up at 2am with his hungry cry. Come the morning he wants double his usual milk bottle!

any ideas!

If they are ill or have teeth they can go off food... i just keep giving my DS offerings of food and he then gets back to normal in a few days.

I agree with Nip although my ds started this a month ago(at 9 months old also) when ill and is still being really difficult to feed. I think it might also be their age - seems like he's worked out that eating is optional.
