we'll have chicken on one day (because we always do) I'll probably do some kind of pasta on one day (because we always do and on one day we may have a pie (because I've got one in the freezer.

Does that count as menu planning?

TrinityRhino · 18/03/2007 22:18

moondog, can I have your freezer

wotzsaname · 18/03/2007 22:19

Im like sleepcat. I have to plan or else 1) I waste time and 2) I waste money..

I do make a meal plan and then a shopping list.

We waste too much food...news.bbc.co.uk New figures show about a third of food grown for human consumption in the UK ends up being thrown away.

fryalot · 18/03/2007 22:19

aah, sleepycat - you're having a lamb tagine with dumplings!

TR,it's dead easy one you get into the habit.
I have to be organised. My dh is away and I work. Also have 2 kids.Without such aforethought,we would be scrabbling in people's bins.
