What to do with gammon steaks?

MIL gave me 2 gammon steaks, I have no idea how to cook them or what to make to accompany them. Any ideas?

grill them, and have then with chips and peas.

Or you could do pease pudding and mash potatoes??

I nthink you can grill or fry them and stiock a pineapple ring on top? Maybe serve with chips veg or wedgies. I hate gsmmon though so wrong person to ask lol.

Whenever we go out for a pub lunch my dad ALWAYS gets the gammon with egg says it never tastes the same when my mum cooks it for him

maybe some grilled tomatoes or a splash of ketchup

I do mine with a provencal sace and boiled rice it makes them a bit more interesting!

I am hopeless can't spell sauce now lol

Thanks girls, think I will try the traditional approach. Chips, peas and fried egg, though not sure about the pineapple ring.
