camel? kangaroo?

that's what we're having tonight! Dh got me 'exotic meats' for valentine's this year as I'm a bit of foodie so we're having the camel and roo steaks tonight. I'm planning to do them on the griddle as you would beef steak. What do you think? Anyone tried it before?

Kangaroo nice - like steak with a hint of venison. Camel... horrid, tasted like wee.

Have to agree about the camel, very strange tasting and quite tough too.

my dh bought kangeroo steaks, but they were just so strong, and bloody, I could barely cook them.

But I do remember eating kangeroo in Australia, and it tasted quite nice.
