Mother's day Lunch menu ideas please

Dh has invited his M & D for lunch on Mother's day along with S and BIL.So lovely lunch ideas would be very much appreciated.
Do not want to do a roast dinner as this is FIL speciality.I am full of the cold and brain is mush.

gawd havn'tmade a pavlova for years.thats a good idea actually.just the kind of thing mil would like.
