A lovely veggie one:

Halloumi and veg kebabs (just put cubes of halloumi, mushroom, peppers, onions etc onto a skewer, brush with olive oil and pop on BBQ)

salmon is great on the bbq (wrap it in foil with onions and lemon), venison sausages, kebabs, pork chops, steaks...anything actually
jamie oliver's recipe for botham burgers is great - well worth trying.
we always make tonnes of potato salad, pasta salad, green salad, garlic bread / french bread
also bbqed bananas for pudding are lovely

(don't forget the wine and beer )

Garlic mushrooms - you need to use the big ones
Trout fillets marinaded in lime and coriander

I read this as B&Q ideas

soemtimes doing a house up tips you over the edge

Wurly can I come to your barbie? I'll bring a cake!

This is dead easy - halve and deseed some red peppers, brush with olive oil, put slice of cheese (eg brie, cheddar, boursin) inside each pepper half and pop on BBQ until softened and cheese all lovely and melty. Can do the same with portobello mushrooms if you remove stalk first.

BBQ Ribs....mmmmmm.

Halloumi wrapped in bacon is the best ever! We have it all the time once bbq season starts over here!

Homemade burgers with a little bit of mozerrella stuffed inside works really well (jamies burgers are scrummy).

kebabs are easy to make, meat or vegetarian

tuna/salmon is also nice bbq'd Lea and Perrins do a really lovely lime and coriander marinade which works very well on fish and chicken

I always do a big bowl of couscous with finely diced vegetables (onions mushrooms courgettes) lighted fried and then a pinch of sugar and a splash of balsamic vinegar. Let it all caramelise and stir it into the couscous - lovely
