Try feeding you children fruit when in the bath!

My ds 4 and dd 2 are becoming rather difficult eaters, at the table sometimes they eat barely nothing, but, if I give them a small bowl of fruit, say a handful of grapes each, whilst in the bath, they eat the lot, they have polished off a punnet of raspeberries between them in the bath tonight. They see it as a real treat.

Excellent! And they get cleaned at the same time .

Do this often, eapically oranges. I like the fact I am keeping the mess contained, also my kids love the bath sooo much I could leave them in there 24/7 and just feed them occasionally

ooh, i will DEFINATELY try that

Great idea!!

Mine wont eat oranges, well they such the juice out, I think I'll give them a try in the bath actually, you never know. My dd wont eat apple at all and yet when the Grandparents were over recently she ate half an apple with them, next day I tried her with apple ..........you would have thought i was trying to poison her.

I often give 'messy fruit' in the bath - like juicy peaches and nectarines and mangoes. Am now wondering how to teach them (dss 5 and 6) to eat these fruits without being messy, iyswim.

In the same vein, I never allow my children to eat tomato soup if they are wearing clothes. It's just not worth the pain. Works well until you have guests, and they wonder why the children are undressing for lunch.

I remember that when I was very little we used to eat mangos in the sea...
