Quick Question about fluids...

My 7 month old eats 3 meals a day but is refusing all milk. If I make up his weetabix in 6 ozs formula for eg, is that the same as if he'd drunk it? I also spponfeed him water as am worried about him becoming dehydrated.

Sorry is this sounds like a silly question but they are supposed to have a minimum of 18 ozs milk aren't they, and he is not getting this....

Tried reducing his food, it makes no difference and he needs to eat he's a big boy...

Thanks,

Bloss

how's his poo?

I know it's a bit eewww, but if he's dehydrated, he will be struggling to poo and producing hard pellets. If he's doing sloppy ones, he's ok.

I struggle to get my two little ones to drink anything, so I do know where you're coming from.

no poo is it's usual, black sticky consistency, unless of course it's that delicious vegetable orange!

Mine would hardly drink, been there with spoon feeding liquid.
He sounds ok if the poo's are not hard.
Mine won't drink milk either, so its weetabix with milk for him too.

It's fine, just try to put as much milk & fluids into food as you can making cheese sauce for example.
