help! i'm making chilli lamb burgers and have used a whole red chilli - not a birds eye one- but think its too hot! any ideas of what to add to my mix to cool it down abit?

serve it with creme fraiche or something else cooling

You could bulk the mix out with some soaked bulghar wheat or cous cous, so that there is less spice per "bit" iykwim?

Or serve with natural yoghurt mixed with mint or other chopped herbs.
