too hot!!!

help! i'm making chilli lamb burgers and have used a whole red chilli - not a birds eye one- but think its too hot! any ideas of what to add to my mix to cool it down abit?

I know you can cool down curry with either coconut milk or dessicated, would probably work for chilli too?

serve it with a big dollop of natural yoghurt
