My dd is quite a good eater but I think I need to vary her food a bit and am looking for some ideas. She has porridge in the morning, maybe some home cooked mashed veg or a jar of food for lunch, petits filous and evening something akin to the same. She eats toast, bread sticks, cheese and biscuits as finger food. Has baked potato sometimes. But need to vary home food rather than just the jars - which are pretty varied. Any ideas, especially for easy and finger food as I work and dont have hours to prepare lots of food.

At that age, my DS was eating all sorts, including:

Bagels
Spaghetti
Tuna
Chunks of white fish
Chunks of papaya, mango, very ripe pears & other soft fruit
Dry Cheerios

Other, less fingery food:
Weetabix
Cottage Cheese
Homemade soup

DS and I are just starting on the whole eating real food adventure, still very much at the mashed up veggies stage, but I recently braught an Annabel Karmel book and it's great sooo many ideas.
Here's a link to her web site, loads of recipes to try.
