we're about to be swamped by a supply of redcurrants from the garden... any recipes which chould use them up would be gratefully appreciated!

Redcurrant jelly is the most obvious, I use it in Delia's roast lamb recipe - just add orange zest & mint and serve as a side dish.

Can't get to the book right now but will post tomorrow if no-one else has.

They're a great ingredient in summer pudding, and will freeze really well until the blackberries are ripe.

Raspberry and redcurrant crumble is lovely.........depending on how sweet your tooth is it could need a fair bit of sugar tho'!

thanks so far! Twink - i have the recipe from delia already... yup i think a couple of jars of redcurrant jelly are going to be given away to friends and family!!!

No proper recipes because I just love redcurrants and would eat them all, yum yum. I gently stew them with sugar, on their own or with other fruit. There's always good old summer pudding or you could freeze them. I'm very envious of you!
