Chicken breasts - how long to 'roast'?

Skyler · 04/03/2007 12:13

I just want to wrap four breasts in bacon and whack them in the oven. How long will they take to cook? Oven at 180 doing roast potatoes and parsnips. I know it sounds daft but I have only ever roasted whole chickens and always chopped breasts up to cook with.
TIA.

I would say about 40/50 mins. If you wrap them in foil, they will not dry out. HTH

Oooh as long as that! Thanks I had better get them in. Good tip to wrap in foil too thanks

30-35 minutes tops

ucm · 04/03/2007 12:29

Actually Mosschops is right, nearer 35 mins really. I do mine on a low heat so it takes longer.

BTW Mosschops, did you give up smoking. I haven't managed it yet
