ds1 is 4 and a half and i just wondered how much he should be eating. already this morning he has had 2 pieces of toast and jam, a HUGE bowl of rice krispies, banana, biscuit, sultanas and ham sanwhich.....when will he stop?????? he isnt fat. In fact, he is really quite skinny!!

He is about to have a growing spurt! At least that was the case with my skinny ds when he was that age. Some days you couldn't fill him, while most of the time you have to encourage him to eat. Get ready to buy new trousers is my advise.

maybe he's got on eof those fast metabolisms (burns it off before it's had chance to stick to him)..btw my ds whose nearly 9 eats like a horse and is not fat but as a baby he'd wolf stuff down...growth spurt yes I guess, as long as it's not lots of junk food then he must need it.
