What veg with sausage & chicken casserole?

Hi everyone,
I am making sausage & chicken casserole tonight for some friends visiting. what would you accompany it with? am going to get some crusty bread but would like to make something else to go with it that looks impressive but is easy to make

Mash with chopped roasted onions mashed in, and a srinkle of chopped parsley

broccolli and mash potatoes

Sugar snap peas, broccoli, butternut squash, mashed potato with mustard???

Thanks everyone. Forgot to say I'm making rice with it so can't really do potatoes too, but I like the sound of the mash with roasted onions, yum! Think I will do sugar snap peas, nice & easy.
nailpolish - yes, sausage & chicken cassoulet (think it means casserole in French ??) easy to make, looks impressive & is always a hit, even with the kids.
