They are great! Keep them in the bag, so we always have a snack. ds1 thinks they're sweets because they're in a shiny wrapper.
Bit pricey though, at 17.5p for a tiny thing!

they ANNOY me
it is impossible for a child to eat JUST ONE!!!!

snowleopard · 26/02/2007 11:39

They look really revolting, like a knobbly caterpillar (esp after being fropped onthe carpet). DS adores them though.

snowleopard · 26/02/2007 11:40

Hmm fropped = dropped obviously - but seems like "frop" should have its own meaning...

NotanOtter · 26/02/2007 11:40

those fruit strings have added sugar - banned at our school

elclose · 26/02/2007 11:51

both my two love them , all their friends think they are disgusting so all the mums keep bringing boxes to our house!!

filthymindedvixen · 26/02/2007 11:54

they smell vile too

my dsses like those school bar thingies

Twinkie1 · 26/02/2007 11:56

I refuse to let DS eat things that look like Poo on the strength that if he does he may get confused and go for one of his own one day!!

zippitippitoes · 26/02/2007 11:57

did they ever announce a winner to that competition which had the strange syrvey last year on mn?

PinkTulips · 26/02/2007 11:59

dd loves them.... think they taste rotten myself but still better as a treat the sweets so i'm not too pushed

PeachyClair · 26/02/2007 12:00

I HATE them, but ds3 is in perpetual adoration and as such they are an essential for breakfast times when he is being picky, esp banana flavour

DS2 hates them. DS2 hates everythinga t the moment. Which is bizarre as he's the only NON Sn one. Attention seeking I think- he gets blanked every time LOL! He won't satrve if he refuses to eat it

PeachyClair · 26/02/2007 12:01

at raisins- don't you know about salycylates???

themaskedposter · 26/02/2007 12:04

lol at this thread!
dd doesn't like them (no matter how many times I put them in front of her and say 'here darling - have a humzinger, they're lovely' - with fake smile plastered on!)

she does however like all fruit normally - so they're 'not just fruit' at all ....

PinkTulips · 26/02/2007 12:06

dates are dd's current obsession, think coz they're so sickly sweet
