Yellow Split peas ant ideas?

We bought these yesterday instead of yellow split lentils. then noticed we had to soak overnight. So now we have a whole pot of soaked yellow split peas and no idea what to do with them. Anyone have any ideas please?.

Split pea soup. Boil them up with a couple of carrots in big chunks, bit of onion and some chunks of potato if you fancy them. If you are not vegetarian chuck in some smoked bacon. Season with black pepper. Bit of smoked paprika is nice -I never have any though!

I was about to suggest soup, too. Nice with chunks of frankfurter chucked in.

Dahl?

thank you so much for ideas, really do like the sound soup. Would go for a Dahl, but would like to do a family meal. I can't budge DC off Korma and mild chilli yet. shame.
