What can I do with a packet of "Toor Dal" lentils? Any ideas?

I think it was the phrasing, ie 'what can I do with' rather than 'what can I make for dinner with'...

Make dal? or lentil soup?

no idea about them! Just saw the packet on the shelf and wonderd how they differ from your average red/green/brown lentils... WAs thinking of making a dal rather than a soup. Are they greasy?
