am using it for the first time - making a chicken casserole

it says on the packet that if boiled in water it takes 15 mins

i've added it to a stock and chopped toms mix - will it take longer than 15 mins as it's thicker than water?

You'll know when it's ready because it'll start to separate from the grain. You'll see it.
