50g Cooks Ingredients Breadcrumbs - PMSL! And to think Cod was complaining yesterday about shop bought pancake batter

NEWSFLASH, when I use mysupermarket.com, Sainsburys always comes out cheaper than Tesco. Seriously, do the Maths before making that assumption.
Did any one see the Documentary about Tesco the other night? There was probably a thread and I missed it, but what an awful company

northender · 21/02/2007 20:09

aldi do proper parmesan (blocks, not ready grated smells of puke stuff) £1.99 for decent sized block iirc

Overrun · 21/02/2007 20:11

And Sainsburys are doing free delivery, over £70. Not bad hey, I don't work for them btw
Just trying to avoid Tesco, and use fruit and veg box, and farmers shops, and anywhere but Tesco when I do use a supermarket

my shop is always loads more at Tescos - have no idea why (but luckily don't have to go there anymore as we have a giant Sainsburys close by).

I love those Waitrose recipes cod. There are some good dinner party type recipes on there too.

the tapenade must be low fat then? i wasn't suggesting the original was dry, just would be without tap. and was it soggy on bottom or did you do it on a rack? and what did you have with it?

fishie · 21/02/2007 20:24

i made this at weekend but not packet rosti, grated potato. mistake it wsa too dry needed fat or something wetting. chicken stuff was lovely tho.

yes but i do not understand what they put in it to make it longlife hence i did not want. i parboiled mine too. there must be another way that doesn't involve half a pack of butter.

tribpot · 21/02/2007 20:49

What would peeps recommend as a wheat-free alternative to breadcrumbs? I guess wheat-free bread, crumbed!

fishie · 21/02/2007 21:02

bit clueless here, but i use polenta instead of breadcrumbs sometimes, woudl that or semolina be wheat free?
