Can you use red wine in a risotto? and do you have a v simple choc mousse recipe?

cooking risotto tonight and normally use white wine but haven't got any - will red do - it's only a splash anyway?

Also had really simple choc mousse recipe - just butter choc and eggs but have lost it - can anyone help - again it's for tonight!!

yes, but I'd use a bit less and not get upset if the risotto turns out purple.

4 oz chocolate, 2 eggs separated. Melt chocolate, beat egg yolks and add them to the hot melted chocolate beating furiously. Leave to cool for 15 mins. Beat egg whites to soft peaks stageand fold into the chocolate mix. Cover and chill for a couple of hours. You can add brandy and then whipped cream etc once cool.

depending on the wine, it sometimes goes grey, tasts great, but looks awful!
