URGENT NEED SPONGE RECIPIE USING CUPS!!

OH BO*LOXS, MY SCALES HAVE BUSTED. MAKING SPONGE BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR DD3 TOMORROW EVENING.

HELP!!!

Have not a clue but bumping for you

white cake

1 1/3 cups flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter/marg
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk

beat butter sugar eggs and vanilla
add rest and beat
bake at 350' for 20 to 30 minutes

Try this - sounds odd but I promise it's delicious;

Mix together:

1 cup plain flour
1 cup caster sugar
4 tsp baking powder
quarter tsp salt

MIx together:

3 tbsp cocoa
1 cup hot water
1 tsp vanilla essence
one eighth cup oil (optional)
2 beaten eggs

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing well.

Beat with a wire whisk or egg beater. Pour mixture into a lined continer suitable for use in the microwave.

Microwave on high for 7 minutes.

Dab top with a paper towel & then turn out & leave to cool.

Ice as desired!

I have been to 3 childrens parties where this has been the birthday cake - has always been yummy!

4 eggs
Pack of butter
8 rounded tablespoons of SR flour
8 rounded tablespoons of caster sugar
