we had a leg of lamb yesterday, gorgeous, and have quite a bit left.
any recipes for tonight's/tomorrow's dinner gratefully received!

we quite often make a tomato sauce , put the lamb in and serve with pasta.

Or shepherds pie if you're feeling traditional

How about a curry?

I looked for some recipes for you but they were all those daft American ones with the cup measurements

or some sort of risotto type thing, you could go Moroccan with apricots - or do you not do fruit as a main course

have never had any luck with risotto!
like the curry idea... need a recipe though.
or how about some kind of lamb/aubergine bake with sliced potatoes on top? need recipe too though if anyone is inspired.

thanks

I'd fry off some onions, maybe red peppers, add the lamb, stir in some curry paste and a tin of tomatoes, then simmer. I'd do mine in the slow cooker so maybe for tomorrow? You could add sultanas if you like?

ohh yes a sort of moussaka would be good too.

thank you!

You can do your risotto in the oven if it's easier, soften the ingredients, add all the stockinto the rice and make sure the lid fits on your casserole, about 18 mins in the oven should do it.

I can't be fafffed standing there adding stock a bit at a time

enjoy your curry though - I love lamb curry.
