So Oeufs au gratin, would be eggs in a cheese sauce.

Oh, yes, I've looked it up, and apparently gratin is often made with bechamel, rather than cheese.

Sorry if I was a bit 'poncey' using the French term. Mine won't eat them either but loads of parenting books say that cheese sauce is THE way to disguise veg so some kids somewhere must.

Not poncey at all might give it a whirl with cheese sauce, I have sorted the meal planner as per 'Mellowma' and i've decided to add a new meal a month (believe me, my kids would NOT accept on a month)
