Bird Flu....

I just wanted to do a quick yes/no poll on here - I was stopped in town the other day by a lady doing surveys and these two questions came up. She told me that she had been doing the survey all day long and I was the the first person to answer yes to either question!

  1. Are you worried about bird flu?

  2. Does the recent bird flu events make
you feel concerned about buying chicken/turkey?

1)slightly
2)no because I don't eat raw chicken

I am not fussed about it tbh. However there clearly is concern as I noticed at both Waitrose and online Sainsbury's that turkey products are reduced in price.

1, no
2, no. I tend not to inhale bird fecies so I think I'll be alright

  1. slightly

  2. yes, because you can not get infected by eating well cooked chicken but you can from preparing an infected one (although slim chance though)

Now, I still buy chicken and turkey, but what worries me a bit are the measures that are being taken at my place of work to deal with a possible outbreak.

  1. No - but I AM concerned about what major sh!t Tony & his cronies are trying to slip under the radar using this as a cover

  2. No - because I'm always ultra careful about preparing & cooking poultry anyway

A little concern, I am thinking to reduce the amount of chicken we eat and include differnt meat which we dont eat eg beef and more fish.
