Lots of sympathy Poppiesinaline. I would be so upset if this happened to me. Actually it did once but only because the house was a tip so I knew it was just temporarily misplaced.

suejonez · 12/02/2007 11:37

whats tp leave out? Pasta, mince, onions, garlic, tomatos (or passata) white sauce (or cheese if preferred. Put in oven until cooked.

There you go.

whatkatydidntdo · 12/02/2007 11:37

firstly dont panic, ok so thats too late now.

The only solution is to insist on eating out/take aways until its found!

Seriously hope it turns up soon.

suejonez · 12/02/2007 11:37

can't help with teh butterscotch tart though

poppiesinaline · 12/02/2007 11:38

'whats to leave out' ???? precisely!!!!

Are you beginning to understand my cooking skills !

where could it be?????

OP posts:
admylin · 12/02/2007 11:44

I've got one of those little books (mine is red) and lost it so often that I now have all the recipes on disk and in another book where I copy them out nicely so I've got 3 sources! It will turn up though eventually...mine always did!

poppiesinaline · 12/02/2007 11:48

Where'd it turn up??

Give us some clues of where to look...

checked the bookcase... inside other books, under sofa...

OP posts:
Leander · 12/02/2007 12:00

try the kids toybox, whatever we lose it always turns up in there

Othersideofthechannel · 12/02/2007 12:54

Closed inside a bigger recipe book and back on the shelf?

Othersideofthechannel · 12/02/2007 12:54

Oops, sorry, you've already looked there.

Is there a prize for guessing right?

Othersideofthechannel · 12/02/2007 12:55

Slice of butterscotch tart for example.

micku5 · 12/02/2007 19:35

Did you find your book?

poppiesinaline · 12/02/2007 20:57

I LOVE DH SO MUCH SOMETIMES....

he found my book!!

It had fallen behind the book cupboard....

I guess he may be getting a prize tonight

OP posts:
SturdyAngel · 12/02/2007 20:58

What would that be then Poppies????

Butterscotch Tart?

poppiesinaline · 12/02/2007 21:20

I think something far better than butterscotch tart or maybe he could have that too... at the same time maybe

OP posts:
admylin · 13/02/2007 09:05

Told you it would turn up !
Now get yourself down to a copy shop and photocopy your book page for page then you will have a back up if one goes mising. 13 years of tried and tested recipes are gold worth.

Othersideofthechannel · 13/02/2007 13:47

Or better still scan them on a blog where we can all benefit from them too

poppiesinaline · 13/02/2007 16:11

what!?? share my butterscotch tart recipe!?

ooooo whats it worth?
