If I put them in an airtight tin, how long can I make them before a party, without them tasting old?

TIA

What sort of biscuits? shortbread ones tend to last longer than a softer piped biscuit ime. Biscuits generally freeze well, so if you want to make them a while in advance that is what I would do.

Oh Panda, thank you SO much for replying. It was just going to be plain'ish type biscuits for my daughter's party. I did think about making them and freezing them and then putting some party looking things (hundreds and thousands etc.) on top nearer the time ... but I hadn't actually heard of anyone freezing biscuits before and I didn't want to seem really stupid . That's GREAT news! Anything (obvious) to know about freezing biscuits?

I would put a layer of greaseproof in between each biscuit to prevent them sticking together. Glad to help - I love MN, there is always someone who can help.

Fantastic - thank you so much for helping me. That'll make my 'To Do' list a lot easier now I can make them in advance.
