I am doing a lovely healthy dish. I poured out the frozen peas to cook, and there is something most unsavoury in there. A maggot. Do you think I will get a refund?

nobody will know if you don't tell them. If it bothers you that much serve it up for everyone else and order yourself a take away later when they are all in bed.

Thats what DP says! He's none to keen on going out to get more. But it is a maggot! A dirty yucky thing which might have been eating, and then defacating on my lovely petit pois!

Eat the dinner AND get a refund (total cost of meal including dessert if you think you could argue your appetite was completely spoilt!).
