SIL coming to stay at weekend, she's on no sugar and no yeast in her diet. BIL has no dairy but will eat cheese if it's cooked. THeir ds is refreshingly ok!

THey're coming on saturday morning, will do a roast on Sunday but what will i give them for the rest of the time? Suggestions, please?

No yeast and no dairy I have plenty of ideas for but when you add no sugar... crazy! There's sugar in almost everything - it's a natural part of fruit and veg.

Is her diet a 'diet' or an allergy/intolerance?

Yeast free breads include soda bread and tortillas - once you've substituted that it's quite easy to eliminate general dairy but you need to find out if it's just general uncooked basic dairy (milk, cheese etc) or whther he can't have it in cakes, bread, cooked sauces etc.

btw - if they're just faddy diets and coming to stay wit you I'd say don't bother (obviously treat real allergies with a bit more compassion!). If they're that concerned about it they can bring their own breakfasts/lunches - my SIL does this as she is on an exclusion diet for her eczema at the moment.

sugar thing is a candida diet trying to exclude it i think. BIL really can't have dairy, but i have soya milk and marg, so that's reasonably ok, we're used to him, it's just more complicated with the candida thing in the mix
