So I'm halfway through making Mars's famous lemon drizzle cake....

and I notice the oven has switched itself off, and the microwave is off. Hubby declares a fuse thing has tripped and flicks the switch in the fusebox - everything in the kitchem comes back on apart from the oven.

So I have a load of cake mix and no oven. If I put it in the fridge will it be OK until tomorrow when a man is coming to hopefully mend it?

Sorry to say, probably not as the baking soda/powder will not stay active that long. You could always try anyway....

Mmmmmm think I will go knock on my neighbour's and ask to borrow their oven.
