He was sick 3 times yesterday and has a raging temp, although it is under control at the mo.

He hasn't been sick today and has been drinking water and had half a peice of toast and some crackers.

He has asked for lasagne for tea but I am not sure thats a good idea.

plain pasta?

Imafairy · 02/02/2007 16:21

Ditto plain pasta - don't let him eat too much too soon.....

holidaymum · 02/02/2007 16:22

simple carbs, pasta or rice or chicken noodle soup.

nutcracker · 02/02/2007 16:22

Hmm don't think he'll eat plain pasta tbh.

He has asked for scrambled egg now, would that be ok ?

I think scrambled egg would be fine

holidaymum · 02/02/2007 16:23

should be if you don't add extra fat, would be good with toast

nutcracker · 02/02/2007 16:23

Oh good, quick and simple too so pleases both of us LOL.

bit of scrambled egg should be ok.

Isn't there an acronym for what's best to have when sick - think it's BRAT, but can only remember that the R is rice.

nutcracker · 02/02/2007 16:25

LOL he has just requested bacon too, but he has no chance as I have non.

Will stick to the srambled egg and some toast I think.

boiled rice and toast?

CanStarveWillStarve · 02/02/2007 16:26

Found it in the archives - Banana, Rice, Apples, Toast.

BettySpaghetti · 02/02/2007 16:32

I'm recovering from a nasty stomach bug and after successfully eating dry toast I had rice (with a little vegetable stock added to the water it boiled in) -believe me, it was delicious after not eating for 2 days!!

nutcracker · 02/02/2007 16:35

Have no rice in either (knew i'd forgotten something when i went shopping).
