Yeah Im really intrigued as well. I might have to google.

MrsBadger · 05/02/2007 20:29

I have a horrible feeling it involves a deep fat fryer and a lot of honey - will have a Google...

4 bananas (green tipped work best)
1/4 cup flour
2 cups vegetable oil
1 dash salt

Peel bananas.
Thinly slice about 1/8 inch thick.
Dredge slices in flour to coat lightly.
In a wok or saucepan, heat oil to 375F on a deep frying thermometer.
Add banana slices in small batches without crowding.
Fry about 3 mins until golden brown.
Drain chips on paper towel and sprinkle with salt to taste.

Slice a banana into the approximate thickness of coins. 2. Dip the slices in fresh lemon juice. 3. Place them on a cookie sheet. 4. Bake at 200F (84C) for two to three hours. Kids will love them!

PinkTulips · 05/02/2007 20:34

can you? i mean don't they use preservatives of some kind to keep them from going brown

Furball · 05/02/2007 20:34

note 200 degrees F not C so only 84c otherwise you may get a visit from the firebrigade
