Well, we have been starting to make pizzas from scratch and after a trial of a few different recipe, I have come to the conclusion that this is the best one I have come across, lol!
-500g Plain Flour (pretty sure you could use wholemeal flour instead)
-250g Quark ( similar to Fromage Frais, Tesco and Asda, etc...stock it, usually with the cheeses)
-1 1/2tsp Baking Powder
-1/4tsp Salt
-10tblsp Oil
-10tblsp Milk
mix 300g Flour with the rest of the Ingredients and then add the remaining 200g Flour and knead thoroughly.
roll the Dough out onto a Bakingtray (or if you prefer round Pizza roll it out and "cut" out into circles of the desired size)..
Now top as desired.
(my dh was at first very sceptical about the Quark part, as he can't stand it, BUT honest, you can't taste it at all, and this dough makes a lovely base, that doesn't get soggy and isn't to tough neither)
