Have you got some potatoes? Baked potatoes stuffed with the other ingrediants toppped with cheddar cheese pop them under the gril or melt in teh oven.

chop up mushrooms, onions and fry until soft, stuff into chicken breasts with the cheese if you like, wrap in bacon and cook in the oven for about 25 minutes

ComeOVeneer · 23/01/2007 16:51

Have you got flour, butter and milk? If so make a cheese sauce fry onions mushrooms and bacon add to sauce pour over chicken (cover with tin foil and bake in the oven, serve the leeks on the side with mash potato (if avaliable) to mop up sauce.

McDreamy · 23/01/2007 16:51

ooh that sounds good oati

Mistymoo · 23/01/2007 16:51

Make a white sauce with the mushrooms, bacon, onions and leeks in it. Cut the chicken into bitesize pieces and cook (fry). Mix them into sauce and mix through some pasta then grate cheese on top.

nutcracker · 23/01/2007 16:52

Yum yum, that sounds great Oati, will do that I think, thankyou.

Mistymoo · 23/01/2007 16:52

ComeOVeneer - great minds think alike

Oati · 23/01/2007 16:56

hope it's nice

you can stuff the breasts with anything you fancy really,(I sometimes use boursin or cream cheese, garlic and herbs), and wrap in parma ham instead of bacon.

one of my favourite quick and easy meals

nutcracker · 23/01/2007 18:47

I must be doing something wrong cos they are taking ages to cook.

Shove em in your bra

Oati · 23/01/2007 18:48

I cook them at 200 degrees

Furball · 23/01/2007 18:49

have you turned the oven on

nutcracker · 23/01/2007 19:12

LOL

Yep oven was on lol, at 200 degrees and they were in for about 45 minutes in the end.

Got peed off then and dished them up. I think they were ok, definatly boiling bloody hot all the way through but to me they still looked faintly pink at the bottom, but they can't have not been cooked after 40 minutes surely.

Oati · 23/01/2007 19:13

did they taste good?

nutcracker · 23/01/2007 19:14

Oh yes they were lovely, will dfinatly do them again but might fry them on the bottom before sticking them in the oven next time.

The dd's liked them too.

Thanks Oati
