hi does anyone know if they do frozen salad anywhere
quite like to have a salad through the week and find it hard to get to the supermarket mid week and it all seems to go out of date so quickly
does anyone know if they do frozen salad or anything i know it sounds strange but wold be soo good

lot sof things in salad wouldn't freeze though as lettuce/tomatoes/cukes. etc etc have such a high water content

but salad stuff should really last out the week if bought on a sunday or even saturday

friozen salad stuff is not nice - something to do with the high water content - it all goes mushy. Some salad stuff keeps for ages - carrots peppers etc so should see you through the week.

The only other alternative I can think of is a russian salad that has cooked vegetables (you could use that strange frozen mixed vegetable bag) cook lightly and stir into mayonaise - but not much nutrtional value!
